Agreement has been reached on a 3.30% increase on the 2026 pay award for local government staff with effect from 01 April 2026.
The agreed pay award covers the period from 01 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 and employer councils should implement the backdated increase as quickly as possible according to terms in contracts of employment.
