With councils in Somerset taking on more services/staff safeguarding training is now a further factor that many councils now need to consider. But even if your not taking on any new services or staff, if you have offices open to the public, then safeguarding training is still something that should be considered.
On Monday 4th of November SALC hosted a 30 minute workshop presentation (with time allowed for Q&As – not recorded) this was free for any council to join
