Your council employees’ staff, even if that’s just the part-time Parish Clerk – your council is an employer and as such has all the legal responsibility that comes with that.

The management of the Clerk by the Council is a tricky thing, this event looks at the legal position of the Clerk, the Council and Councillors.
It explores the best practice ways of supporting your Clerk in their employment and how this can be managed and monitored.

• Training available for Officers

This foundation event is suitable for all members of the council (Councillors) but, specifically HR Committee members and is aimed at small to medium size councils (up to a £200,000 turnover).
